STAND-UP
Abi made her debut at the Comedy Store at the World Famous Gong Show beating the gong her first time out! She was offered 5 minutes, then a 10 minute spot by Don Ward, owner of the Comedy Store, and hasn't looked back since.
UK gigs include Winchester with Richard Herring (see gallery). London venues include: The King's Head, Crouch End, The Queen's Head, Piccadilly, The Polar Bear, Lisle St, China Town, Out of the Box, Kingston with Mitch Benn headlining, The Wheatsheaf, Rathbone Place, Turnmills, Clerkenwell. Compering includes: Canal Cafe for Hutch Comedy (line up included Simon Farnaby). Fashion shows at various high profile clubs in the West End. Too Too Much, Soho.
She perfomed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2006 in stand-up show ABOUT AS FUNNY AS IT GETS alongside Tom Clutterbuck and Karl Edrik, winning four and five star rave reviews, and has recently returned from NYC where she has been doing stand-up, making her debut at the Ha! Club just off Times Square.
TV credits include: The Comedy Lab, Channel 4, The Richard Hammond 5 o'clock show (ITV1).
Film credits include: The Good Ship Citizen (Outlaw Films) with Vic Reeves, Driven (Earthbound Pics) with Gary Beadle.
In 2007 she will be wowing audiences in her brand new one-woman comedy show, ABI ROBERTS GETS HER HITS OUT, in Edinburgh.
